Chrysler Transmission 

The 62TE transmission family is widely used in popular applications such as the Chrysler 200, Pacifica, Sebring, Town & Country; Dodge Avenger, Grand Caravan, Journey; Ram C/V, Promaster; and Volkswagen Routan.

4L60E

The GM 4L60E transmission was used in many cars between 1993 and up, including:


  • Holden: Commodore, Monaro, and Caprice
  • Saab: 9-7X
  • Isuzu: Ascender 
  • Chevrolet: Camaro, Caprice, Corvette, Impala SS, Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, and more

  • Cadillac: Escalade and Fleetwood
  • Pontiac: Firebird and GTO
  • Oldsmobile: Bravada


The 4L60E is an evolution of the Turbo-Hydramatic 700R4 and replaced the TH350. It has lower gear ratios, an improved valve body, and a lockup torque converter. The 4L60E is a popular choice for street performance and retro fitting. Depending on the year and internal modifications, it can handle 400–700 HP

Ford 5R110 TorqShift

The 5R110W transmission is found in Ford F250, F350, F450, and F550 Series trucks. It was designed to improve fuel economy, performance, and shift quality and strategy. The 5R110W transmission is a five-speed automatic with a Tow/Haul mode. 


The 5R110W transmission uses an electronic control system with sensors and solenoids to regulate gear shifts. It has a limp mode feature that alerts the driver to take the vehicle to a transmission shop. 


The 5R110W transmission was replaced in Super Duty trucks by the 6R 140 transmission in 2011 and the 10R 140 transmission in 2020.
